We traveled north in the morning to outside Price WA where my cousin Lois has a tree farm (I guess that's what you would call it). She and her husband Don bought part of his family's logging acreage and the old family home which they started to remodel before Don passed away. Lois has continued this effort and now is in the finishing stages of having a home with beautiful view of the forest behind her and meadow land in front. It was a long drive up the last few miles as the GPS took us the shortest route but not necessarily the best route. We spent the day with Lois and had a great time and I got to explore and walk to the old hay barn and the woods. Scruffie the cat did go outside to smell some of the forest scents.
