Zunzal Beach, El Salvador
December 15, 2009

Sunset at Zunzal beach

Oxcart and coffee

Well I bought the piece of Bolador wood from Oscar and we cut it into three pieces and loaded it and the Guanacaste wood into the RV. Now the floor of the RV looks like a lumber yard but if I can get this home it will make a wonderful dinning room table and desks for the Mexico house. You just never know as Forest Gump said “what you will find inside a box of chocolates”.
Now if any of you ever get a chance to visit El Salvador I would highly recommend that you stay at Bocca Sunzan as Oscar has done one outstanding job of designing a resort that has everything and more in terms of its features and atmosphere. His rooms are theme rooms much like the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo and the attention to the details he has incorporated into them such as the lights made of seashells or wine bottles, or the sinks which have waterfalls for the water spout are truly unique one of a kind articles. He also has made the pool areas a wonderland of forest, nature and design.
Enough said and we will be leaving this Shangri La tomorrow for a new adventure. Stay tuned as we are to go thru four tunnels on the next leg of this journey and that may not happen if the tunnels are not high enough. Then onto the Ruete de las Flores or the Hwy of the Flowers. So, you see the journey like life just keeps going on and on.
I hope that all is well on the home front and we will again enjoy dinner out tonight. Just too hot I tell Bev to cook indoors here. But it has been cooling off and if we are in the mountains tomorrow we will try something different.
For now it is time to read under the palapa by the beach, watch the semi naked women on the beach and have a cervesa possibly and enjoy another sundset made by God. As you know Dr. E only God can make a sunset. So to you toiling in the vineyards to save the world from going blind I say “Good luck to you as luck is a greater gift given to you than skill, education or knowledge”.
