Things that go Bump in the Road
Well this is just one of those things that comes up when you have nothing else to do in the day but think of all of the bumps that are in the road ahead of you. Maybe even all of those little bumps that are in your life seem like this also. Ah well here it goes.

1. First there is Mexico with what they call their topes in Belize they just call them a BUMP these can be steep little buggers that are at the beginning and end of each town. They are solid across the road and present a pretty good sized hurdle that you have to really slow down for. It’s sort of like the hurdle that you face when you don’t have the financial where with all to do what you want. You have to slow down and accumulate the necessary funds to proceed. Steep but short lived.
2. These are the shallower but flat topes or pedestrian crosswalks that are on the road. They are less steep but they are longer in length than the other topes. These are sort of like a longer life commitment. You climb the hill a little more gradually but you stay up there longer and you slide down the other side a little more easily. These are really the nicest kind of speed bump.
3. Next there are the speed bump balls: These nasty little things you think that you will have no problem with. Unfortunately they can rattle your teeth and jar your head and really shake things up. These are sort of like those silly little life experiences that do not look all that bad looking back. Even when you are up against them you say to yourself well it can’t be that serious but then the damn thing really rocks you.
4. Then there are the potholes in the road. These are sort of like the potholes in your life. Some are just little ripples in time that you sort of coast over without hardly even knowing that you came to it. Others are those moon craters that come out of nowhere with no warning that threaten to take you right off the course of life and derail you into a ditch.

No matter what may befall you on your adventurous travels, remember that the road is always out in front of you. Whether you choose to go straight ahead, turn right or left or even take a detour the road itself is always there in front of you. Just try not to turn around, it’s the pits in an RV on a narrow road.

Sorry but this post must wait for pictures as they are on the other camera.
